How To Get to
the Academy's
Milwaukee/St. Francis Location:
The
Academy of Classical Ballet is conveniently located in the "3211
Building" of the Marian Center for Non-Profits (former St.
Mary's Academy site)at 3211 S. Lake Drive on the border of
Milwaukee and St. Francis, directly across from Lake Michigan.
Please follow these directions so that you can find us.
From the south ,
take 794 to the Oklahoma Avenue exit and take a right to
travel east to the lake. Take a right at the last stop light
before driving into the lake, and that is Superior Street (which
turns into Lake Drive directly in front of the studio driveway).
You'll pass the circular drive of the Marian Center for
non-profits on your right, then turn into the next driveway just
before the Village of St. Francis sign. This is the parking area
and general entrance for all the businesses in the 3211
building.
From the north or west
take 94 East to 794 . Travel south down 794 to the Oklahoma
Avenue exit. The freeway ends before this, and the Oklahoma exit
is at a light. Take a right from the exit onto Oklahoma Avenue
and travel east to
the lake. Take a right at the last stop light before driving
into the lake, and that is Superior Street (which turns into
Lake Drive directly in front of the studio driveway).

F rom
Waukesha County:
Take 43 North to I43-894 East towards the airport. Exit on the
Howard Avenue exit. Turn right onto Howard, left on Oklahoma
Avenue,then continue traveling east towards the lake. On
Oklahoma,
take a right at the last
stop light before driving into the lake, and that is Superior
Street (which turns into Lake Drive directly in front of the
studio driveway). You'll pass the circular drive of the
Marian Center for non-profits on your right, then turn into the
next driveway just before the Village of St. Francis sign. This
is the parking area and general entrance for all the businesses
in the 3211 building.
Okay, I've found the 3211 building, now what?
1st- Don't drive too far! Traveling further down this drive
than needed may get you lost. As you enter the driveway there is
a small 'over flow' parking area to your left- don't drive far
past that. On your right is the side of the building, then a
rectangular parking area, enclosed on 3 sides by the wings of
the building. If there is space, park here. You'll see a door
marked '3211'- don't go in that door. Look to the far end of
this little parking area and you'll see a single car garage with
an overhang of the building that is an alcove/breezeway to the
left of it- this is where you will enter the building. Go
up the stairs to the 2nd floor, and there you will find the
Academy of Classical Ballet. Congratulations!
